In a few pics to the right are the yummy treat I mentioned yesterday. It’s called a Dirt Bomb muffin and people flock to the Cottage Bakery to taste it, then go home and try to figure out what the heck is in it. I think I might try that too. It’s pretty amazing. I loved stopping by the Cottage Street Bakery… the exterior just screams Cape Cod! The other store I was charmed by was The Brewster General Store. I think I could live in there forever, well actually I could because they sell everything from groceries, to Christmas ornaments, kitchen supplies and crafts! It was stocked with so many goodies I couldn’t resist running around like a kid! We bought Romeo some of those cute monkey jars and I also bought some colorful mini bowls. We chose a Christmas ornament too, which we usually do when we travel somewhere. It makes decorating our Christmas tree a walk down memory lane, which I love. The sunsets were absolutely stunning during the evening. It was perfect because we could take Romeo outside (while the sun was going down) and watch the sun go down together. I swear, even though he’s only an infant, I think he really enjoyed it there. It was a breath of fresh air for him too. Babies don’t like smoggy air in LA either. It was a fun and relaxing trip (besides the car ride there with a screaming baby man!) and we can’t wait to go back one day.
