bethany’s brilliant 30th

November 13, 2012 | Snippets of Life | Comments

Bethany’s Brilliant 30th Birthday was a blast. I threw in the “brilliant” because she graduated with her Ph.D this past spring, thus she’s somewhat brilliant ; ) We celebrated at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs with our sister Jessie and three of Bethany’s closest friends, one who has a great design blog filled with inspiring photos. We had some hilarious moments, great laughs and some crazy conversations we won’t forget…

We did a lot of hot-tubbing, eating, coffee trips in the morning and thrift shopping… I bought Romeo a Santa suit for $1, ha! We tried to hike Joshua Tree, but it was FREEZING and we couldn’t stand it so we headed out after we ran around for a bit and took some quick photos. To make it special, I made gift bags for the girls with “brilliant” products like Smart Water, Think bars, Nerds… you get it ; ) I will do a DIY on the bags later on in the week. I also made birthday hats, a giant fringe 30 sign and had Georgetown cupcakes overnighted, yum!! They made for great snacks when we got back to our hotel room both nights. It was a memorable weekend and I know Bethany had a great time saying goodbye to her 20’s!
